Job Description
Export Packers Company who has been established since 1937 and is a leading Fortune 500 company within the Food Industry is looking for a Product Development Assistant/Co-coordinator.
The successful candidate must be adaptable, creative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ideal candidate should have minimum 3 years experience within the Food industry, an asset would be a candidate that has worked within a Seafood/Fish sector or have a College diploma in the Food Science Industry. Candidate must enjoy being in a Test Kitchen as well as thrive in an office setting. This role reports directly into the Seafood Product Development Manager and works closely with Quality Manager, buyers and procurement team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
QUALIFICATIONS
Office experience 1 – 3 years
Technical and computer skills in Outlook and Excel, Power-point experience an asset
Clear and effective communication skills
Ability to multi task, have strong organizational skills, attention to detail
Exceptional people skills, liaison with various people
Passion for Food likes Seafood and Fish, naturally comfortable in kitchen setting.
